Beyond Non Existence EP – Analogue 18
P.e.a.r.l. y Oxygeno comparten este disco con dos trackazos cada uno para el sello griego Analogue.
Spanish techno talents P.E.A.R.L. and Oxygen bring a proper workout on this release with four cuts that favour deep bass pressure, space and late-night hypnosis. There’s a nice balance between the two here, with driving percussion and immersive atmospheres keeping things moving. Oxygeno’s ‘Midnight Procession’ is reduced to barely-there hi-hats that tickle the rubbery kicks and rolling bass and ‘Floating In Chaos’ conveys factory automation with static electricity buzzing through the mix. P.E.A.R.L. brings a tougher edge to ‘Reduce’ and ‘Distance ‘, but the flow feels natural throughout. A solid split EP made for dark rooms.
