Clergy 10 Years: India – Clergy X 09

Clergy continues its celebration of being a decade in the game with another fierce various artists offering. Pierce begins with therefor sharp and clipped rhythms of ‘Don’t Fold Under Pressure’, which is sparse but evocative. Elsewhere, Zisko’s ‘Logic Makes No Sense’ has more frosty textures and drums that skate over a frozen landscape and Lindsey Herbert’s ‘Aussetzung Der Zeit’ sinks into beautifully bleak minimalism with haunting pads. Arkane’s ‘Transform’ is another fine example of how tool-like cuts can be elevated with great sound design.
