Clergy Splits 03 – Clergy 41
Impresionante split entre Cleric y Mold Boutique con tres pelotazos por cabeza para la referencia 41 del sello Clergy.
The Clergy assembles once more here for another session of techno workshop. This time with Cleric and Mould Boutique at the helm and taking no prisoners. It is the former who takes the A-side with ‘Only Time Is Ours’ first up. It’s a chunky, hunched-over rhythm stripped back to pure groove but made eerie with some intriguingly odd string sounds. ‘Redacted’ is darker and more bulky with an earth-rattling weight, and ‘Milk Of The Poppy’ then teases with sci-fi blips and ghostly shadows. Mould Boutique’s trio begins with the cavernous ‘Silo’ and its sensual whispers, the deep space transmission that is ‘Pulsar ‘, and that twanging synth unease of deep roller ‘K9’.
