The Orbital Oscillation camp ends their year with a bumper new collection of nine fierce techno slammers from a range of artists. JXXXO opens with the swampy low ends and dubby undercurrents of ‘Nagori Scrolls, ‘ then Bondaruk taps into more sleek minimalism from the Jeff Mills school, though with more pronounced rhythms on ‘Melancolia Selectiva.’ GWAN & ALEXANDER then combine for ‘Phantom Veil’, which will have walls rattling in tune with the thumping kicks, while Augusto Taito cuts loose with warped vocal fragments and a surge of techno power on ‘Dynamic Mantra’, surely destined to make any floor lift off.
