Built on driving, precision-tooled rhythms, ‘Avalon’ kicks off at full throttle Wirth urgent siren stabs and unrelenting bass. ‘Crossing Paths’ is from the bleep school with piebald patterns falling down over slick as you like electro-techno and ‘The Moment You Told Me Why’ flips the script again with a subtle wave of synths bringing warming euphoric rushes to the muscular analogue drums. ‘Looking Back’ completes a varied EP with layers of reverential synth that evoke introspection while you float through the cosmos.
