London acidulators Chris Liberator and Sterling Moss finally declare their second LP, Culture Of Acid, on Stay Up Forever, a label they’ve hand-run since the 90s, supplying contiguous torrents of unvarnished warehouse gear. Long known for twelve-bound acid mayhem, not longer statements as heard here, the pair declare a strong one-line in outsider intent and freakery from the jump, implicating the listener: «we are the freaks, oh that’s me, and that’s you, and that’s everybody in the room!» Bruising machine slang follows with the likes of ‘Stomp Signal’, ‘Acid Society’ and the closing big-powder-room exploder ‘Germany Is On Cocaine’.
