Curation One: Oscar Mulero – The Third Room 22

One of three new Third Room releases to see a vinyl release in a single spell. The ‘Curation’ series welcomes guest artists/DJs to curate a four-tracker each, and for this first edition it’s Oscar Mulero of Warm Up and Pole Recordings fame, yanking the reins. While the later instalments in the series were true V/As, this one’s entirely made up of Mulero collaborations with high techno aristocracy: Minneapolitan titan DVS1, Italian acid attacker Luigi Tozzi, Venezuelan-Canadian via Berlin upriser Isabel Soto. Nothing here’s too over-the-top, but you can bet your butt it’ll be sweating by the time ‘Reaction Pair’ and ‘Seven’ are over.
