Customs & Faces V 01
Circus Operandi inaugura el nuevo sello Customs & Faces con cuatro temarracos originales recién salidos del horno.
Vilnius duo Circus Operandi – Donatas Chipak and Titas Tumosa, long-time residents of the city’s now-closed Opium club and Gallery 1986 – land on Customs & Faces with a four-track self-titled EP balancing electro muscle with late-night techno swing. ‘Blah Blah’ kicks things off with a cheeky, ring-modded vocal ramble – apparently a voice-changed pizza order – a strange little club tool already rinsed for months by Ivan Smagghe and picked up by selectors Shonky and Francesco Del Garda. ‘Fantast’ and ‘Hints’ lean deeper, both running on emotional electro lines and steady 4/4 propulsion, and ‘Denter’ slides into trance-adjacent territory without dozing into syrup or sentiment.
