Geistform y Half Mute inaugiran los nuevos Link Series del prestigioso sello Distrito 91.
D91LINKSERIES_01 inaugurates a new split record series by Distrito 91 focused on
connecting artists, sonic identities and parallel visions through the classic 12”
format.
For its first transmission, the series brings together two projects emerging from
different areas of Spain’s underground electronic landscape: Geistform and Half Mute.
On Side A, Geistform, also known for his electro alias Univac, delivers three tracks
driven by raw machine energy, analogue sequences and industrial pressure. His sound
draws from rhythmic noise and minimal electronics, evoking the mechanical intensity of
the European industrial tradition.
Side B features Half Mute, an alias of Madrid based artist Groof, one of the long
standing figures connected to the Spanish underground techno scene. His tracks move
through dark electro structures, hypnotic sequencing and minimalist techno, balancing
tension and functionality within a distinctly nocturnal atmosphere.
