Russian-based producer Rambal Cochet dwells in the fissures defining techno, trance and psy, and far-afield Spaziotempo, based in Italy, have coaxed him out of one such trench with ‘Dark Matter’, securing yet another stash of slow-trailing, somewhat EBM and/or synth-fluenced techno. Slow orbits circle bass and synth lines before settling into drive, while ‘Remote Kontrol’ and ‘Explore The Energy’ add faint soul and entranced cross-rhythms, appending the ultimate question with a note of mystery.
