EEEER – Mental Disorder 28
El dúo sueco SHXCXCHCXSH produce los cinco pepinos que forman la referencia número 28 del sello Mental Disorder.
As unpronounceable as they are excellent, Swedish techno pair SHXCXCHCXSH debut on Reeko’s Mental Disorder label with some seriously straightforward but effective tackle. These are heavy pounders for the big stage and main room but never resort to cheap gimmicks for impact. ‘EEEER’ is full of rising tension and fizzy percussive froth, then ‘OOOON’ gets more mental with anxious synth unease and ‘UUUUR’ swarms with impish psychedelia over pulsing bass. ‘AAAAK’ is a blizzard of sound, like waling head first across a frozen tundra in a snow storm. ‘YYYYT’ shuts down with synth modulation madness as warped, smudged blurts of noise collide atop another rolling rhythm.
