Electronic Civilisation – Under The Radar 08

Four cities feature on this one compilation as Under The Radar’s eighth release pulls DJ SCSI out of Detroit, Bohm from Utrecht, Wildplanet from Stockholm and D-UFO from Barcelona. They each contribute a single cut to a snapshot of where electro and techno currently sit across Europe and the US. ‘7 Miles’ is squelch electro funk with pneumatic drum patterns, ‘Closed’ cuts much more loose and sprays wildly through the speakers then ‘Movement’ is a sparkling array of busy rhythmic lines, claps and jostling hi-hats. ‘Space Dimension’ is a punchy powerhouse closer with its sights set firmly on the future.
