Fastgroove Klub announces itself with a debut compilation rooted in high-velocity, no-nonsense techno. Felicie’s ‘Mimetic Desire’ surges like a storm wave with taut percussion and steely focus, while Lars Huismann’s ‘Centrifuge’ locks into a spiralling groove that refuses to relent. Kabay injects wiry menace into ‘Psycho Dancer’, and Steve Redhead delivers pounding authority on ‘Red Sonata’. Fhase 87’s ‘Lost’ tunnels into hypnotic repetition before Vrov’s ‘Sartah’ closes with brisk, driving force.
