Fasme and Quadratschulz let their machines run wild on the fittingly entitled Ghost in the Machine, a five-track collaboration conjured up from live jams and a week of studio experimentation in Hamburg. Acid squelches, darting synth lines and robotic voices all feature in this playful tangle of electro, braindance and leftfield electronics. There is just enough melody to keep the chaos in check too, always with a sense of spontaneity throughout, as if the pair hear a new idea and chase it before it melts back into the circuitry. Analogue mischief at its most wonky and full of character.
