Horizons Sampler: One – Illegal Alien LTDT 19

Dutch label Illegal Alien offers up a new sampler featuring four tracks of its stylish, textural techno. Temudo’s opener ‘The Rhythm Track’ has a rattling groove and scruffy metal textures that are run through with a trippy synth. Ricardo Garduna pairs things back for a more streamlined but no less potent sound and Casual Treatment then gets freaky with some unsettling motifs that hang menacing in the air. Fresko’s ‘Vamp’ shits down in a hurry with a bulky low end and some sparse warehouse energy that keeps things heading into the spooky unknown.
