Huge Rings of Hot Plasma – DOMU 06
Tensal protagoniza la sexta referencia del sello DOMU Records con cuatro pelotazos originales.
Spanish techno producer Hector Sandoval has been at this since the mid-90s, first as one half of Exium alongside Kessell, then solo as Tensal since 2014. Over a hundred releases in, he still treats repetition as king. DOMU’s first vinyl outing is four tracks of exactly that locked-in, floor-minded techno that Sandoval excels in. ‘Huge Rings’ tightens like a vice over time, ‘Herir’ gives the groove a little room to breathe and the synths space to fizz and spit, ‘Hot Plasma’ nudges the tension higher with broken beats and Tony melodies jerking all over the place and ‘Cism’ is pure panel-beating dancing bait. This is the sound of a veteran who knows how to nail a loop.
