Irisation – Dream Ticket 19
BufoBufo se encarga de hacer sonar la referencia número 19 del sello Dream Ticket con cuatro temazos originales.
Ritual Poison/Batrachian founder and British electro-naut BufoBufo is back with more of his thrilling sounds, and once again this is an EP that offers mental nourishment as much as physical release. ‘Acid Hyrax’ has coruscated riffs and kicking drums that pop and spit under soft, bendy acid. ‘Irisation’ seems to look more to UK funky and broken beat for its rhythmic inspiration, while the synths sing a sweet song. ‘Hagstone’ is sad-sack broken beat electro that is happy to wallow in its own pity. The good news is that the closer ‘Do Your Thing’ shakes off that sombre feel and strides into fatter bass and more elastic electro with gurgling acid loops and a surprise soul vocal.
