Here, he invites a wealth of peers to rework tracks from his super last album, but first he offers his own dub of ‘Sinkhole’ which has signature swagger and moodiness. Ara-U remixes with crunchy electro melodies and blistering broken beats, Jerome Hill flips ‘Yew Got 2 B Yew’ into a jacked up and trippy sound with warped synth smudges and ‘Whatever Mate’ (Berwick remix) is an intergalactic cruiser with various melodic textures but a sleek, journeying rhythm. Great new perspectives on some fine original material.
