La Reunion – Drei Vinyl 08
Gran elenco de artistas para dar forma al álbum en doble vinilo que compone la octava referencia del sello Drei Vinyl.
Drei Vinyl’s brand of techno is hard to define – at times it’s punishing and physical, at others it’s brighter, sample-heavy and atmospheric. This various artists collection embodies that with four sides of urgent and arresting techno that doesn’t rely only on rhythm to move you – it also has plenty of musical character that demands you engage your mind. Jolo55’s ‘Hyperdrive’ is a lithe, slithering workout, Insolate brings a brighter and more euphoric energy to ‘Limoncello’ and Anna Jevills lands her groves with layers of sonic scuzz, cyborg motifs, brushed metal and forlorn synth work on ‘Back To The Future.’ Tigerhead closes with the otherworldly futurism of ‘B Funk,’ which is one of many standouts.
