Uberkeine launches his new label, Litiege, with a strong first statement that establishes a distinct and uncompromising sound. Very much crafted for the club, these tracks are dense yet minimal and conceptually driven while being rooted in modular synthesis and stripped-down arrangements. From the eerie, organic tones of ‘Guillotine Whistle’ to the d&b-inflected chaos of ‘Drifting Data,’ Uberkeine tugs at traditional genre boundaries with heavy bass and hypnotic rhythms. ‘Mirror Moist’ delivers a potent but sensual fix through a grinding bassline and pulsing loop, while Shaney’s remix twists it into a dark, off-kilter techno weapon.
