Polygonia & Rodhad lanzan la decimonovena referencia del sello de éste último con cuatro elegantes tracks originales.
Rodhad’s Berlin label and studio has been running since 2012, and this is the first time it’s opened its doors to Markus Schafer and Lindsey Wang, the latter recording as Polygonia out of Munich. The four tracks here were recorded over multiple sessions, the dates embedded in the track titles as DDMMYY sessio ndates: ‘MAUVIER 01 [250120]’, ‘MAUVIER 02 [250331.1]’, ‘MAUVIER 03 [250331.2]’, ‘MAUVIER 04 [250401]’. Or they could be read as coordinates for an uninhabitable Arrakis wasteland: the highs are crisp and the guiros goosebumping, every fidget and scuffle on track 3 sounding like the escaping of a body-modded, machine rattlesnake.
