Moonwake – Mutual Rytm 48
Sciahri se marca este pedazo de EP de cinco cortes para la referencia número 48 del prestigioso sello alemán.
A decade after his 2014 Ilian Tape debut, Iranian mastermind Sciahri loops back to Mutual Rytm for a paranoid, barren technoscape in EP form: ‘Moonwake’. Like a rover tracing the grey craters of some gas giant’s nearest exo, without feeling or discernment, the title track and ‘Liminal’ revel in the brutality of pure space without purpose. ‘Night Sentinel’ and ‘Unmoved’ are less atmospheric, more pressurised dramas unfolding closer to terraformed home base, after which two basaltic impacts ‘Too Much Time’ injects a dose of soul.
