Moving Pressure introduces Italian-born, Berlin-based DHaeUR with an assured four-track statement that does almost a decade after he first emerged on the circuit. Built on weighty low-end and tightly wound rhythms, the A-side opener ‘Westalia’ leans into lean drum patterns and dubby undercurrents as vocal snippets add a subtle lift to the groove. ‘No Time’ is defined by its big hit ringlets that shimmer through the mix as more minimal but compelling drums roll at speed. Flip it over and the mood stays stripped back and deep. ‘602’ is like a psychological thriller that builds tension through subtle hints rather than explicit exposure and ‘Arrivals’ is a final odyssey into the dark infinity of space.
