Myor Massiv 15

Myor Massiv is the jungle sublabel of Coco Bryce’s Breda operation, running since the first instalment with FFF and Coco Bryce splitting a 12″. Past actors include Kid Lib, and most instalments have kept the catalogue firmly within a Dutch axis. Number 15 breaks that pattern: the Toaster Soul Project arrives from Bristol, anonymous beyond that, serving four tracks of identified «mental lofi jungle.» ‘Scratch Practice’ opens the A on dustiest breaks scuzz – the beat never settling into any routine – and goes generous on the laser beam zaps; ‘Somethin U Need’ rides out the B with a beat that seems to clench and unclench, toying with deconstruction and rhythm loss in those in-between moments.
