Simply arranged but melodically arresting, title piece ‘Night Time’ glows with soft-focus charm: airy vocals over bubbling synths come jazzy stabs, conjuring afterhours hearths of late-2000s progressive. ‘Whispers In The Dark’ is a top contender for the «darkly euphoric» prize meanwhile, its Euro ringtone hook and clip-saturated beats proving it *the* treat of the EP. ‘Wishing Well’ introduces dubbed-out acid curlicues and chopped vocal scraps with a UK tinge, while ‘Jealousy’ closes on an oblivious plunge into padded, ambiguous worlds.
