Greek techno stalwart Axel Karakasis brings his trademark intensity to a four-tracker that wastes no time aiming squarely at peak-time floors. ‘Thick Slice’ leads with driving kicks and relentless percussion, a heads-down cut that sets the tone. ‘Last Ray’ adds tension with stabbing synths and carefully stacked layers, a rolling burner built for late-night pressure. On the flip, ‘Outcast’ balances toughness with a hypnotic undercurrent, its looping motif tunnelling through waves of pounding rhythm. Closing with ‘Shades of Blue’, Karakasis shifts slightly, weaving subtle atmospherics into the heavy groove while maintaining his no-nonsense energy. This is techno at its most direct – stripped, precise and made for maximum impact in the hands of DJs who like it hard.
