Marking both artists’ debut on Ostgut Ton, Paired Works documents the coming together of distinct sonic worlds, both of which have been shaped by years of shared surroundings and creative exchanges. Although these tunes were made separately, they have plenty in common: Justine Perry leans into deep, hypnotic forms across ‘Beyond The Line’ and ‘Fracture,’ while Paula Koski favours dubby, texture-driven spaciousness on cuts like ‘Maeve’ and ‘Vena Cava.’ Spread across four sides, these tunes mirror the ebb and flow of a long club night rather than chasing one peak moment.
