Solar Quest produce los seis tracks originales que sirven para inaugurar el nuevo sello Akasa Studio.
Akasa Studio digs into producer George Saunders’ archive for this new two-part portrait of his Solarquest project. The A-side of ‘Polyaxial’ pulls from mid-90s sessions and serves up stripped-back, trance-tinged dance tracks with a Goa edge, all built on clear melodic lines and forward-thinking tension. The B-side shifts gears with later-era productions from the late 90s/early 2000s and favours dub-like warmth, ambient space and slow-unfolding textures. The result is a well-balanced album, whether designed for the club or more contemplative territory thanks to hypnotic motifs and spatial depth in equal measure.
