To mark 13 years of their artistic endeavours, Berlin’s Pornceptual collective have offered up a compilation of previously unheard treats from a mix of PRNCPTL label artists, invited guests and «friends from the international queer scene». There’s naturally plenty of sleazy and energy-packed heat amongst the nine tracks on show, with our current favourites including the EBM/new beat/proto-bleep pulse of Curses’ ‘Make Me Feel’, the organ-splashed deep house hypnotism of Perra Imunda, the high-octane, sub-heavy rush of label chief CRYME’s ‘Tantra Tonga’, Spacer Woman’s trance-inducing ‘This Is Special’ and the dusty, locked-in techno stomp of ‘Papuer’s Bluff’, a three-way collaboration between Rachel Noon, Dillon Lucas and Boneman.
