Proper Techno Tunes sure does live up to its own billing. Dave Simon is at the helm for the label’s eighth release and we can safely report that yes, these are four proper techno tunes. There are actually lashings of trance energy to the first cut ‘Sonbone’ which is fired out of a Hadron Collider and direct into your brain. ‘Interweave’ is an edgy one with synth loops making for manic mental vibes and ‘Ravemithme’ bring hard tendon energy with its distorted basslines and caustic synths. Last but not least is ‘Imploding’ which is all about flashy acid serrations and hard-assed drums under euphoric synth waves.
