Teed, Bo Saris, Erykah Badu y Adam F comparten este Various Artists de cuatro cortes para la cuarta referencia del sello Re:versal.
On the fourth volume in the major label’s ongoing deep dive into its dance music archives, Universal Music offers up a quartet of drum & bass classics from the vaults. Side A boasts two must-have remixes from Calibre: the Signature Records founder’s 2011 take on TEED’s ‘Garden’, a deep, dreamy, organ-splashed stepper topped off by deliciously soulful vocals, and his more propulsive, ghostly and sub-heavy 2012 rub of ‘She’s On Fire’ by Bo Saris. We’re taken back to the late 1990s on the flip, first via liquid drum & bass pioneers’ Blu Mar Ten’s superb, ambient-tinged deep d&b re-make of Erykah Badu soul classic ‘On & On’. To round off the EP, there’s another chance to savour the radio edit of Adam F’s jazzy, chart-bothering anthem ‘Circles’.
