Stockholm electronic act Art Fact, active from 1986 to 1993 and known for a traiblazing trio of cassette-demo tapes, return once again via dark sonic vessel 22Recordings. Formed of Anders Ljung, Jonas Embring, Mans Jonasson and Olle Soderstrom, their early soundbreakings in Stockholm’s 1980s electronic scene helped iterate a distinctly melodic yet abstract style. Their best is done again, from C.ru.z’s take on ‘Whom Are You Dancing For?’ and the Curses remix of ‘Im Jealous’, to Art Fact’s own self-remix of ‘Nowadays’ and LVCA, Stefano Andriezzi, and C.ru.z reinterpretations of many more bitter hitters. Mixed and mastered at The Bakehouse Studio UK, the release is presented with an A3 poster and is part of 22Recordings’ Capitulo IX series.
