Simbioza – Berg Audio 08
Para la octava referencia del sello Berg Audio tenemos un elegante Various Artists de cuatro cortes.
Given that he was born and raised in Soviet-era Russa and makes music infused with ambient and dub techno sounds, Andrey Pushkarev is a perfect fit with Berg Audio. Surprisingly, this is his first outing on the minimalist imprint, following years spent offering up material on the likes of Circus Company, Endless and his hown Luck of Access imprint. He begins alongside THOR with the beautiful early morning hypnotism of ‘Ones In A Moon Dub’, a kind of hybrid of deep tech-house and dub techno, before joining forces with Eli Verveine as Among Trees on the bolder and more forthright tech-house trip that is ‘Scent of Tilia’. Vocalist Svetti features on the jungle-with-dub-techno-sonics of ‘November’, while minimal techno scene stalwart Mihai Popovicu lends a hand on the typically Eastern European sounding mimal house hypnotism of ‘Dominanta’.
