Greek producer Annef returns to Hardgroove with a set of remixes that feel far more like an artistic reckoning than a functional update. Her rise has been fast, shaped by long studio hours in Athens and a touring life that bends sound into instinct, and you hear all of that in ‘Annef Remix V1’. The remix opens in a tight coil before expanding into something feverish, as if she is testing the limits of the original’s spine. ‘Annef Remix V2’ adds a kind of nervous propulsion that doesn’t settles while ‘Annef Remix V3’ is made taut and precise with the edges hardened until they gleam. The closing ‘Dub’ peels everything back to reveal a deeper pulse, a quiet sign of how confidently she now shapes her world.
