Some Leaves Must Fall – Buttheads 01
Temple Rat inaugura el nuevo sello Buttheads produciendo seis pelotazos originales.
Berlin’s concealed ambient weapon Temple Rat launches a new chapter with ‘Some Leaves Must Fall’, inaugurating Martin Gilleshoj’s Buttheads label with an early milestone in the career of Yuxin Mei, after a period spent between Berlin and China’s Sichuan province. The mood is dripping, sleep-deprived, flooded, tipping into bleep techno only by the A2, ‘Snake Dream’, which sets the danceable core of the EP right up until the elder closer ‘Fly! My Paprika!’. ‘Sichuan’ and ‘Elsen Bridge’, meanwhile, are the wet-shoed interludes, with footsteps echoing in elemental ruins, drizzle pattering on iron roofs.
