El artista Ignez regresa a su sello Somov con este elegante EP y sus cinco pelotazos originales recién salidos del horno.
A smouldering incident in dark surf techno surfaces in Netherlands-born north star Ignez, working between Berlin and Amsterdam. With tingling bonfire textures, film-dialogue-sampling ambient sections and glimmering sound design, the already HOR, SK_Eleven and Token favourite manages to keep it deep and dastardly, though the theme is also aquatic. The melodic – if you want to call it that – sensibility is quite advanced too, evincing this producer’s rather patient ear for production, ‘Many Nights’ being the deepest, most slowly unfolding, lunar-tidal case in point.
