Symmetry C (remastered) – Vinyl Classics 14
El mítico Symmetry C de Brainchild, remasterizado y con los remixes de Mike Koglin, Lange y Vincent de Moor.
Originally released in 1994, Symmetry C remains a cornerstone of early German trance, being a great example at that fertile period when Frankfurt producers were bridging techno precision with emotional lift. This new remaster revisits not only the original mix but also the essential remixes from 1999, keeping things as they were. Like the old adage, If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. The original version remains stunning. A taut, driving rhythm beneath cascading acid lines and soaring melodic phrases, futuristic yet heartfelt, embodying the optimism of the first wave of trance.
Mike Koglin’s remix amplifies its energy for late-90s dancefloors, adding crisp percussion and modern club sheen that reignited the track’s popularity. On the flip, Lange’s remix takes a bold detour, introducing breakbeats and atmospheric textures that reshape it into a hybrid of trance and progressive breaks. Finally, Vincent De Moor’s version pushes the euphoria to its zenith, transforming the tune into an anthem of pure melodic release. Now reissued 25 years later, this package highlights Symmetry C’s enduring influence.
