Hernan Cattaneo and Marc Romboy have circled each other’s territory for long; the former is the Argentine progressive marathon-man, and the latter the German founder of Systematic, one of the longer-running architect-techno imprints. The original Insanity Of Infinity landed digitally in March, while this limited 12″ arrives in July, running in patient grooves, synthstasies accumulating with the same unhurried pressure both men would apply to a three-hour set. The B-side does the job of covering the room: Frank Sonic and Drumcomplex dial it into peak-time Systematic mode; harder, more propulsive, less interested in nuance.
