The latest on the pleasingly entitled Sexyrecs is a focused techno four-tracker from Dutch producer Khas. The opener ‘Interlinked’ leans toward restraint and liquidity, and feels built from organic structures as patient groove and carefully placed bleeps pull you in. ‘New Order’ is similar, with throbbing bass and only the most deft percussive glitches for company. ‘Lying To Tell The Truth’ is more urgent thanks to the soft synths that run through the mix while ‘Interlinked’ completes the quartet with more deliciously deep, dark and shady techno sexiness with hints of introspection.
