Spain’s Germany-based Ruman heads down into the Bunkers Collective for a muscular dub and techno flex. His style is spare and leaves plenty of room for your mind to fill in with whatever it wants while the deceptively simple drums and bass go quietly but compellingly about their rhythmic work. ‘Center’ is like a gentle ping-pong back and forth with a groove that sways in situ. ‘I Will Miss’ has a more linear progression and icy edge and ‘Not Going To Aeden (25 Eow Mix)’ brings melodic ripples that bring to mind the vast expanses of space. ‘When (Me)’ ups the temperature with chords that want to liven you up and get busy.
