Xuntanza Vol VIII – Fanzine 27

Now eight volumes deep and still high in quality, Fanzine Records’ Xuntanza series keeps doing what it does best – pulling together artists with different takes on electro that all exists in a coherent universe. Promising/Youngster opens with ‘Tremolo,’a shimmering cut with pads that mean something. It’s followed by Featherstone’s ‘Vertex,’ a luminous, delicate and rich melodic tapestry before the flip brings in Jauzas The Shining’s ‘Love Itself’ for a darker vibe. Noamm’s ‘Zombie Society’ and Kafkctrl’s ‘Nuclei Decay’ closes in more psychedelic fashion.
