As any techno head will know, Lewis Fautzi has been at the heart of the contemporary scene for a number of years. He is a hugely consistent producer who turns out effective tunes but tunes that also have something about them which makes them stand out. He’s do so mostly on Soma but also labels like Figure and Polegroup. Here it is Mord who welcome him for four more powerful cuts that take in the fizzing pads and cantering drums of ‘Murder The Limits’, dark industrial intensity of ‘No Saint, I Know’ and the unreeling drum pressure of ‘Into The Body’. ‘Least At Last’ is the trippy closer that sounds like a spacecraft in terminal meltdown.
