A Body In A Body EP – Private Parts 08
Jacob Dwyer & Ste Roberts producen los tres tracks que forman la octava referencia del sello Private Parts.
Private Parts release a collaborative EP built around the audiodrama Tom’s House, a surreal narrative document of the experience of returning home after 15 years. The new record from producer and lyricist Jacob Dwyer, here minimally reinterpreted by Ste Roberts, follows the same thread of inspiration that first drove his soundtracking of a gallery piece by Dwyer’s sister Florence. The A opens with ‘Canon HF10′, where spurts, bleeps and buzzers underlie a punctual narration from Dwyer, tearing down the inner workings of the namesake camera. Flip to the B and Roberts’ ‘The Baby Is Legit Upside Down’ detonates with 808s etchings, squelchbass stabs, and quick-shifting FX, while Dwyer’s voice vrums away in mood of up-close, London-accented, autonomous sensory proximity. ‘Red Flowers’ closes on a near-instrumental breakbeat bit; a truly creative release and follow-up to ‘Tom’s House’ through South Of North earlier this year.
