Distance has never been much of a barrier for LA techno producer Truncate and Madrid DJ/boss Pushmann, a connection played out – or should we say played back – through shared records groove-sides than mutual company. Arriving early in the life of Pushmann’s LILA imprint and sitting comfortably alongside Truncate’s decades-deep discography on labels like CLR and Drumcode, ‘Like This’ locks zealously into jacking, hardgroove grammatology, a faint «me gusta» vocal line scurrying above, while ‘La Cueva’ and ‘The Wise DJs’ bolster the wax with backup presha. Kink serves up a surprise star remix, cinching the record as a sure-to-be booming hitter for 2026.
