Seriously well-sculpted techno tackle from Nathan Alexander, new-gen Leeds incubee and proud launcher of his own label and imprint, Kuje Records. ‘Profetia’ is a ferocious EP, with custom-crimped kick and ricochet design smacking us around the face, and an exhibitionistic audacity rivalling that of a frilled lizard gone rabid. ‘Bound’ and ‘Rabbit Hole’ upset and unsettle with their metallic aural hell-ucinations – befitting of the doom-streaky text emblazoning label name on front cover. ‘Tracer’ and ‘Technical Itch’ revoke any expected complement to the A, with peak-scaling SFX design evoking the sinkered scrape of meat hooks, winches, pulleys, and levers.
