EDC1 – Trule 33
EDC se encarga de producir los cuatro tracks originales que forman la referencia número 33 del sello Trule.
Al Wootton’s Trule label continues to do fine work with another to-the-point four-tracker. EDC steps up for this one and lays out his distinctly minimal but hi-fidelity take on dub. ‘Track 1’ is barely-there -a subtle click track with scratchy static charge and shakers sketching out a rhythm. ‘Track 2’ is similar but with throbbing sub bass coming for your soul as the sound of a helicopter rotator blade spins above and grows ever closer, ramping up the sense of tension. ‘Track 3’ has a more winky, bulbous low end that falls of the grid as a percolating mix of precision and synth modulations builds through the mix. ‘Track 4’ is hugely ominous and devoid of human life, like a solemn march on a distant planet as time runs out.
