J.A. returns to Rubber with a limited 10″ collaboration supercharged by Italian techno sorcerer Donato Dozzy. Building on their last release, the trio of Andrea Noce (Eva Geist), Jonida Prifti (Acchiappashpirt) and Dozzy meld celestial vocals with hypnotic minimalism and deep-bass mysticism. The title track ‘Sorella di Confine’ unfurls like a ritual: cold bass eruptions, fractured whispers and rhythmic geometry that have otherworldly precision. ‘Era Vitale’ is equal parts pagan chant and club invocation and ‘Eclisse Indolente’ has absorbing spoken words and synth drones in the background so it feels ancient and futuristic at once. It’s a spellbinding fusion of voice and machine.
